Rust is a survival simulator, created by the UK Facepunch studio. Rust came out in 2018. Rust is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PCs. The game is popular as the number of players has hit 100,000 by March 2020.

What is this game about

Have you ever thought about finding yourself in the middle of nowhere? If your answer is "Yes" this game is definitely for you. You start having nothing. The wind is blowing in your pockets. Moreover, you don't have pockets as you don't even have pants! All this stuff you will need to earn later. Now your mission is to survive, to make your first tools, and to build a primitive shelter to protect yourself from various wild animals.

How to play Rust

This is an open-world game meaning you can go anywhere and do whatever you want. However, you don't need to be in a hurry. The world surrounding you is very hostile. You need to get food first to be able to satisfy your primary need. Later, you will need some clothes and other important stuff. You will meet savage animals and humans that you will need to kill to survive.

The game offers plenty of items and tools that you can use to protect yourself. However, in the first hours of Rust gameplay, you will have only primitive tools like a stick or a stone. The upgrade of your stuff will take time.

When you become stronger, you will be able to find allies and to create towns. However, you need to remember that the allies may become your enemies one day. Everything is possible in Rust.

Graphics and controls

Rust offers photo-realistic graphics as this game about real survival. Landscapes look very beautiful and natural there. Developers have paid much attention to the smallest details to allow you to believe you are in the real world. Recommended Rust system requirements are high, but it's worth it. As for the controls, you can use a keyboard/mouse or gamepads.

Worth a replay?

Definitely yes! Moreover, this game has no end meaning you will be pleased to return here again and again. This is an open-world adventure where the next day is never similar to the previous one.
