Create or survive?
When playing Scrap Mechanics, you can choose between Survival and Creative modes. Survival starts at the place of the crashed spaceship. There is a crafting station, which has limited functionality. You can build a vehicle there to make recon.
There is also a huge mechanic station on this planet where you can create other important robots and equipment. The planet is flooded with hostile robots that will attack the main character. There is a merchant in the game, who can sell you weapons and other important items.
Creative mode is similar to Minecraft, where you will build your machines and houses wherever you want. You get access to all warehouses since the beginning of the game. There are no enemies there, no one can injure you. You can save your works and share them via the Steam platform. There is also a challenge mode where you will use various test facilities.
Worth a replay?
There is no doubt you will want to play this game more than once. It offers plenty of opportunities and allows you to use your imagination. You can create unique machines and stations.
