Slime Rancher story

The gameplay features
The economic aspect of the game turns around selling plorts, produced by the slimes. You can go to a special exchange to get Newbucks. This in-game money can be further used to buy various items and upgrades. You need to move your character around the planet to gather slimes.
You can combine various slimes to produce more plorts. Moreover, slimes can eat plorts to become larger. However, you need to be careful as if slime eats two plorts of various types, it becomes aggressive that may attack the other species around.
The game includes various types of jelly creatures that have their own small particular traits like ears, tails, and wings. There are also large slimes that you need to turn into farmable ones. To do this, you need to shoot them with food. They explode and gain normal size.
